How to make 3 Dimensional artwork

As your crafting Sensei, I am bound by honor (and maybe twine) to give you the secrets of 3 Dimensional art as promised. You can see the original post here.
Are you ready?

Cheese, Gromit!
Well, actually I used this type of grommet but I love Wallace and Gromit so it never hurts to include them since they are made of clay and clay is a crafting item. I may be stretching this whole thing a bit into a post- modern take on existentialist crafting. Who knew burlap was sooo deep.
Just grab the tool that you use to create your hole
(called "the hole cutter" on the box…I love simplicity) and an old piece of 2x4.
You need the 2x4 because the burlap canvas is about as high as the 2x4.
Just place your hole cutter over the berry that you want to cut and pound with a hammer. This burlap has a film on the back so you need to pound a few times to make it cut through the burlap and this film. Some I removed the whole berry and others I kept the hole cutter at an angle so it only cut half of the berry and then I was able to fold the berry back for the dimensional look. Just do random berries and leave some untouched.
This is what it looks like from behind.
Add some ruby red tissue paper folded in fourths and then smoothed out. Tuck it under the burlap and in-between the burlap and wood frame. This will really make all the berries, well, look like berries. If you are doing a leaf stencil then using green would work here. Any other design other than a circle, you would have to use an X-acto knife or use the hole cutter to start a slit and then use very sharp scissors to cut what you want the rest of the way.
I finished mine off by cutting a piece of manila folder to size just so it looked professional.

And that is the secret to dimensional artwork, oh great student of the craft.
Well Done. You have earned your belt in Karate Craft.
Always being renewed,
